Jan 11, 2010 - I wasn't taught that, I have several books on Buddhism and they all show that Buddha was born in India. I live in India, and have been shown the place where Buddha supposedly meditated in the forest. But to be honest, I don't really care where he was born, I'm not Buddhist.

Jan 12, 2010 - @Blazinfistsoffury : ok if you dont care thats good..i too am not budhhist...i am from china...and there r evidences that king ashoka also came to nepal and he did the sculpture for the evidence that budhha was born in nepal....and in many indian channels they say that budhha was born in lumbini (nepal)....it is also listed in world heritage at the UNO....check that out....and lets not discuss about this....
