Mar 11, 2010 - Since you use extra salt I assume the butter is unsalted.Thx for the recipe.

Manjulaskitchen Says:

Mar 11, 2010 - @rni15 yes I do use unsalted butter, salted butter will have too much salt for cookies.

Mar 18, 2010 - Thank you manjula for this recipe. I love it. Do you think it will work with pecans or pistachios? I use a different recipe for my almond cookies. It contains egg but it is flourless. I grind the almonds into a powder, add sugar, baking powder and egg. They are soft out of the oven but after a day they are crunchy like biscuit. I like it too but I do not like too much egg, so your recipe is a perfect alternative. Thank you again.

Mar 19, 2010 - @Akilahfoye it will work with pecans or pistachios.

Jul 13, 2010 - Now I want to make cookies! Your videos are making me feel like I can actually cook something without it turning into a mutant and, inevitably, being eaten by what I was trying to eat. Thank you again. :)
